About Words3

Words3 is an infinite word game inspired by Scrabble.

Overview

In Words3, players form interlocking words, crossword fashion, on a board using letter tiles of different values. Each player competes for a high score by taking advantage of their letter tiles, as well as bonus squares on the board. Players can buy more letters at any time, and sell points scored back to the game for a share of the game's treasury.

Onchain Games

Words3 is one of the first fully onchain games. This means all of Words3's game state and logic is implemented with smart contracts on a blockchain. This makes Words3 composable and permissionless.

Words3 is maximally hackable

This means anybody (like you!) can build on top of it without constraints. Some ideas to build:

• Marketplaces for trading letters
• Custom clients (frontends) to play the game (all the game state is on a public chain)
  • e.g. clients with additional stats to get an advantage
• Bots
• Alliances & collectives (e.g. pool funds to buy letters, split earnings)
• Anything else you can dream up!
